Lembrem-se de postar as escolhas de vocês , sobre os passeios e musicais (temos apenas 19 retornos) , no blog AS SOON AS POSSIBLE.

Informação importante:

O nosso DIA DO CARINHO foi marcado para o dia 06/11 às 14 horas.

Nos encontraremos em frente à escola e depois iremos para o Abrigo Municipal Renascer.

Precisamos organizar as caronas (pais, please!). 

Cada dupla ou trio (os mesmos das casas) deverá  trazer refri, bolo e guloseimas.
Organizem-se entre vocês (dupla ou trio) para ver quem trará o quê.

Favor dar retorno com as definições citadas acima até o dia 30/10.

Qualquer dúvida entrar em contato com a escola.

DECISÕES ...

Olá pessoal!

Como combinado na reunião do dia 05/10, chegou a hora de decidirmos os passeios que queremos ir.
Lembrem-se que os passeios escolhidos são opcionais, portanto não estão incluídos no pacote.

A média de preço dos passeios é:

London Eye - 19 libras
Madame Tussauds - 25 libras
Tower of London - 18 libras

Musicais:

The Phantom of the Opera ou The Lion King
 O preço dos musicais é por volta de 70 libras. Talvez consigamos uma diminuição desse valor por se tratar de estudante e grupo.

Hello everybody!

Esperamos que todos tenham gostado da reunião, pois conseguimos organizar ainda mais nossa viagem. Não temos a menor dúvida de que nossa jornada será estupenda.

Lembrem-se de ler o termo de compromisso com atenção!

O Rei Leão e o Fantasma da Ópera foram os dois musicais mais votados na reunião, portanto agora nos cabe escolher qual dos dois queremos ver. Com toda certeza, vocês fizeram ótimas escolhas, pois ambos são extraordinários.

Como falamos na reunião, seria interessante que vocês assistissem alguns filmes para conhecer um pouquinho mais da história dos lugares que vamos visitar.  Aqui estão nossas dicas.

- Pride and Prejudice - filme baseado no livro de Jane Austen que morou em Bath. É bom sabermos um pouco sobre ela já que vamos visitar a casa onde ela morou em Bath. (The story takes place at the turn of the 19th century in rural England. The Bennet family, consisting of Mr. and Mrs. Bennet and their five daughters - Jane, Elizabeth, Mary, Catherine, and Lydia - live in comparative financial independence as gentry on a working farm, Longbourn. As Longbourn is destined to be inherited by Mr. Bennet's cousin, Mr. Collins, Mrs. Bennet is anxious to marry off her five daughters before Mr. Bennet dies. However, Elizabeth, the heroine, is convinced that she should never marry unless she feels compelled to do so by true love).

- Elizabeth (In 1558, the Roman Catholic Mary I of England dies of a cancerous tumour in her uterus, leaving her Protestant half-sister Elizabeth as queen. Elizabeth had previously been jailed for a supposed conspiracy to murder Mary but has now been freed for her coronation. The film shows Elizabeth being courted by suitors (including Henri, Duc d'Anjou, the future King Henry III of France, whom she rejects) and urged by William Cecil, 1st Baron Burghley to marry, which, as he states, would secure her throne. Instead, she has a secret affair with her childhood sweetheart, Robert Dudley, Earl of Leicester. The affair is, however, no secret from Cecil—who makes clear that a monarch has no private life).

- The Phantom of the Opera (In 1919, the effects of a dilapidated Paris Opera House are being sold off at auction. Raoul the Vicomte de Chagny (Patrick Wilson), now an old wheelchair-bound man, purchases a coveted music box. During the auction, Raoul spots a familiar figure: Madame Giry (Miranda Richardson), whom he met as a young man. Madame Giry is now an old woman, almost 50 years later. But he is distracted by the next piece for auction, Lot 666; a chandelier in pieces which has been restored and newly electrically wired. As the auctioneers display the restored chandelier, the opening crescendo of music wipes away the years of decay from the opera house as the black and white turns into color, and the audience is transported back in time to 1870, the beginning of the story, when the opera was in its prime.

A disfigured musical genius called "The Phantom," (Gerard Butler), lives within the deepest recess of the opera house. Tormented by his scarred face, the Phantom lives in the watery labyrinths beneath the Opéra Populaire in Paris. After nearly ten years of quiet obsession with the delicate, ethereal voice of Christine Daaé (Emmy Rossum) and the beautiful young soprano herself, he plots to place his protégé at center stage).

- A rainha (The Queen is a 2006 British-French drama film directed by Stephen Frears, written by Peter Morgan, and starring Helen Mirren as the title role, Queen Elizabeth II. Released almost a decade after the event, the film depicts a fictional account of the immediate events following the death of Diana, Princess of Wales on 31 August 1997. The main plot focuses on the differing views in how to deal with the death of Diana).
